According to neighbors, Miller was not at home when officers arrived to execute the search warrant. “He walks the dogs and basically goes back inside. That’s basically it,” a neighbor named Butch told WMBF. “It’s been a couple of days. His truck is gone. His truck was there yesterday, but it’s gone today.”
Fox News Digital reports that a family friend named Alicia Young said Miller had just left his house minutes before the FBI arrived and that agents found him at Starbucks and served him the search warrant there. Young said, “He was not allowed to go to his house while they were there, and he is in their custody for questioning.”
In a statement to People magazine, Miller’s lawyer, Russell Long, said, “They executed a search warrant at his house this morning, as expected. Nothing new really. Hopefully this is the end of it.”
